The development partnership Third Career is aimed at supporting lifelong education and improving the conditions in the labour market for the target group of “50+” people in the Central Bohemian region.
Research
We will map out the current situation at Czech companies, explore the personal and professional aspirations of “50+” employees and become familiar with the opinions and attitudes of economically active people living in the Czech Republic with respect to problems related to keeping “50+” people in the labour market.
Methodologies
Based on the research results, we will develop methodologies and test them
in practise:
- The first methodology, intended for HR managers and employers, will look at how we can improve cooperation with “50+” employees and make use of their potential.
- The second methodology, intended directly for the employees concerned, will aim to help the employees boost their motivation to improve their qualifications, expertise and flexibility.
Information
We want to change stereotypical opinions of the “50+” age category and contribute to changing how the “50+” category is perceived by highlighting
the issue in media and presenting positive experiences and examples.
International Cooperation
We will make use of experience shared within the scope of international cooperation and propose and improve strategies and procedures based on experience gained in other EU member states. Our aim is to eliminate the barriers to employment and career growth that older employees in the Czech Republic often encounter.
Our international partners are
Trans’Savoirs (France)
Potenzial 45+ (Germany)
South West Forum on Age and Employability (United Kingdom).
